Ostheimer Iceland Horse Hrókur Wooden Toy Figure

Hrókur is inspired by a real Icelandic stallion who is part of the Ostheimer family, born in the Swabian Alb, whose gentle nature and unique markings inspired the magical storybook Hrókur and the Sky Riders. His name, pronounced “Roo-kür”, means “tower” in Icelandic. Through imaginative play, children can invent their own stories about Hrókur galloping freely across fields, exploring farms or travelling across wide northern landscapes.

The Ostheimer Iceland Horse Hrókur is a beautifully hand carved wooden horse figure, perfect for Waldorf-inspired small world play and storytelling.
